Non-injection GUNAPHORESIS collagen therapy using magnetophoretic resonance
How does GUNAPHORESIS work?
This treatment uses magnetic resonance imaging, which supports the transport of the active substance - TROPOCOLAGEN - to the deep layers of the dermis, subcutaneous tissue, muscles and tendons.
The device emits an ELF magnetic field of low frequency and low intensity. This increases the permeability of cell membranes and intensifies the action of the sodium-potassium pump. This results in increased absorption of the ingredients contained in the collagen preparation.
At the Mineral Hotel Malinowy Raj**** Medical Center, we use collagen therapy in two areas:
- in aesthetic medicine, to firm, regenerate and thicken the skin of the face, neck and cleavage
- in physiotherapy, as a support for the treatment of pain of various origins
Advantages of GUNAPHORESIS collagen therapy
The treatment using the Gunaphoresis device is painless and non-invasive. After it is done, the skin is smooth and moisturized, there is no hyperemia or thermal effect. It can be performed all year round and does not make the skin sensitive to sunlight. Collagen therapy can be combined with other treatments, manual therapy, and massages. The patient can also use balneotherapy, a sauna or a swimming pool both before and immediately after the procedure.

For greater effectiveness and to obtain long-term results, it is recommended to perform a series of several treatments.
Contraindications to the procedure:
The device produces an extremely low-frequency magnetic field, which has no contraindications for the patient and the operator. Although the field is limited only to the area of application, magnetophoresis treatments are not indicated for:
- pregnant women
- patients with a pacemaker
- patients with very old type of dental implants, made of magnetic iron (removable dentures containing metal elements should be removed from the oral cavity before facial skin treatment).
What is TROPOCOLAGEN?
Collagen constitutes 5-6 percent of an adult's body weight and is the main protein that builds ligaments, tendons, muscles and skin. Its smallest subunit is TROPOCOLAGEN. These molecules group together to form collagen fibers in the presence of a specific enzyme in the extracellular matrix.
Mechanism of action of TROPOCOLAGEN used during GUNAPHORESIS Preparations used during the GUNAPHORESIS treatment contain tropocollagen type I, which has the ability to immediately rebuild collagen fibers of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Thanks to it, the bioscaffold responsible for the appearance of the skin of the face, neck and cleavage is strengthened and rebuilt.
Additionally, tropocollagen type I, after entering the extracellular matrix, stimulates the process of neosynthesis of own collagen fibers in fibroblasts. The results of the treatment are therefore long-lasting and increase the amount of collagen fibers in the dermis of the face, neck and cleavage.
Additional active and auxiliary substances contained in the preparation accelerate cellular metabolism, contributing to an even more effective tissue regeneration process. Thanks to this, there is an increased proliferation of fibroblasts, which are responsible, among other things, for the processes of wound healing and reconstruction of damaged skin fragments.
